The Carolinas' most respected professional development pathway for masonry contractors — from foremen to company principals.
The North Carolina Masonry Contractors Association provides masonry contractors in the Carolinas an opportunity for extensive professional development and continuing education through the NCMCA Masonry Contractor Certification Program.
In addition to increasing the professionalism of masonry contractors, the program is targeted for specification writers, architects, and owners as a means to pre-qualify masonry contractor firms for building projects.
The program is governed by a board of nine governors, including experienced NCMCA members, an NC AIA architect representative, a Southeast Concrete Masonry Association representative, and an appointment from the Brick Industry Association–Southeast Region.
NCMCA membership is not required for individual participation. However, company certification requires membership in NCMCA.
Whether you're a field professional or company principal, NCMCA has a certification track designed for your role and career goals.
Designed for foremen, superintendents, project managers, and middle management professionals in the masonry and construction industry.
For company principals, owners, and upper management who lead masonry organizations and set company direction and standards.
Companies achieve NCMCA Certified status by maintaining a required percentage of certified individuals on staff and documenting their company history and experience.
All ten courses are taught by nationally recognized experts and industry authorities in masonry construction and operations. Participants must pass an exam at the end of each class.
